Production
of abrasive grains of White Corundum, Brown Corundum and
Silicon Carbide has in Benátky nad Jizerou long-time
tradition. Since the beginning of last century to the
present time, abrasive grain with the origin of Benátky
nad Jizerou, always belongs to world-widely avowed
products.

Present integrated assortment of only producer of grains
of White Corundum in Czech Republic starts at grit F16
and ends at grit F240. Further is standartly produced
sizing 0-0,1 mm, 0-1 mm, 1-3 mm, 3-5 mm, refractory
materials and corundum mixtures determined to industrial
floors. All grains are produced in several grades
according to requirements of customers. Grains of
Silicon Carbide are produced by similar technology as
grains of White Corundum in grits F16 to F1200. On
production of grains of Silicon Carbide continues
production of SiC briquettes for metallurgical purposes,
mixtures determined to industrial floors and other
products. |

SiC
BRIQUETTES,
FeSi BRIQUETTES
We
produce foundry briquettes in wide assortment and two basic groups:
1)
Briquettes SiC
Briquettes SiC are produced in content of 50% and 70% into different
forms. Mostly are produced SiC briquettes SPECIAL 70% in size of 10 x 10
x 11 cm, packed are on palettes for 1.000 kg. These briquettes are
determined for cupola furnaces with manual batching.
For
machine batching are produced briquettes of hexagonal shape in size of 9
x 10 cm with content of 70 % or 50 % SiC. These briquettes are supplied
either in bulk or in big-bags.
2)
FeSi briquettes
We
produce FeSi briquettes in content of 65 % and 50 % of clear Si. For a
production of briquettes is again used several types of forms. For
manual batching are mostly supplied briquettes in size of 10 x 10 x 11
cm. For machine batching we supply briquettes in size of 4,5 x 4,5 x 5
cm.
The
whole production of briquettes is during a process checked by intra-plant
laboratory, which assures high grade briquettes.
Briquettes are supplied to foundries all over the Europe.
